POSITION : Regional Manager REPORTING TO : Regional Vice-President IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Creating effective and accurate visual merchandising to maximize sales and profits. Supporting Management team to ensure appropriate merchandising within specialty departments meets company objectives. Practicing effective line management. Setting priorities, fostering teamwork and setting expectations for direct reports. Providing consistent training, motivation and coaching for direct reports, entire staff and district stores. Recruiting and hiring top performing employees. Identifying and developing a base of promotable employees. Training and developing employees to consistently deliver Indigo customer service commitment and exceed performance expectations. Conducting analysis and providing input for improving stock mix and inventory productivity. Identifying obsolete and non-productive stock. Promoting product knowledge and services offered to staff and customers. Exercising loss prevention policies/procedures and ensure that staff do the same. Upholding all company policies, procedures and programs. Performing other duties as communicated. AND YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS : A love of books and a passion for retail (customer service). Previous managerial experience an asset Experience coordinating and executing accurate and effective visual merchandising Excellent profitability record and budget management. Exceptional analytical, interpersonal, decision making and organizational skills. Results oriented leader and motivator; a team player with strong communication skills.
